SpareBell is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not run servers that receive your information, and we do not have your data.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, store, sell or share personal data. There are no accounts, advertising, analytics or third-party tracking tools in the app.

Data stored on your device

The subscriptions you enter (names, amounts, billing cycles, renewal dates, icons) and your settings are stored locally on your device. They are protected by the iOS data protection of your device and may be included in your own device backups (iCloud or computer), which are controlled by you and Apple.

Icons

To find an icon for a subscription, the app looks up its name in Apple's public search. We do not receive this information. If you prefer, choose an icon from the library or your own photo instead.

Screenshots and photos

When you import subscriptions from a screenshot, the image is read on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition. The image is not uploaded anywhere. When you choose a photo as an icon, only a small resized copy is stored inside the app.

Notifications

Renewal reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They do not use a push server.

Children

SpareBell does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and publish the new version on this page.
